Bike 1194.39 mi 69:22:02
Run 124.6 mi 20:07:40
Swim 0.75 mi 0:34:37
This is the totals from june 24th through october 2nd. (I had to put my 09 IM training on the backburner as my father is ill.)
I can see that I need to do a bit more swimming this year. I only have another 6mos until my 1st attempt at a HIM in Orlando.
All in all, I'm pretty pleased as before june I'd never ran more than 2mi at a time. Never biked a century, or thought of completing a triathlon. So far in my 1st season, I've placed 3rd, 4th, and 6th in AG, finished a 1/2 mary, and completed back to back 175mi rides.

I don't really log training. One of the resolutions for 2009.

Clermont? See ya there!
I thought Clermont was in Sept? The one I'm entering is held on disney's fort wilderness grounds. This tri will be the only reason that I have been to disney in over 15 yrs.
I'd love to give the 70.3 at Clermont a try come sept., but I've heard it can be a draft fest in the AG wave. Other than that seems like a cool race and since I'm out of IMFL in Panama until 2010 it might be just the ticket.

Sorry, I horribly miscalculated the time frame. Dont clean and post, people!
Compared to the Disney HIM, Clermont should be a very easy race to race clean. Everything I see says it is pretty much draft free.

I had a pretty good year. ;-)
I challenged myself to run an average of an hour a day.
This year was 366 days
I ran 379 hours, 15 minutes for 2008 - around 2655 miles, avg of 7.25 miles a day.
I wasn't on my bike that much this year. I am looking to spend more time on it next year.
I didn't swim alot seriously but I swam for fun at the pool and the beach with the kids.
I did several marathons;
Rome,
New Jersey,
Yonkers,
Breakers,
New York City,
Las Vegas,
Almost did the Turkey Swamp 50K but it was canceled after about 23 - 24 miles.
I did bunch of shorter races(5k's, 10k's, etc...)
I did a few tri's
Randolph Sprint,
West Point Sprint,
New York City Olympic tri,
I got married in March, and I got to run an early 5k on my wedding day.
My wife Melissa and I enjoyed a great honeymoon in Rome, and I got to run the Rome marathon.
I spent a lot of time with my kids, and we spent a lot of our time being active.
I had a great summer.
The wife, kids and I spent a week in St Augustine at the beach.
My daughters and niece woke up early to see an amazing sunrise while we were there.
The other mornings, I woke up early and ran on the beach and saw a different sunrise everyday.
I traveled for work this summer and I ran everywhere I went.
I got to meet several trifuelers in person for the first time,
(Kevin, Tom, Kylie (finally!) and Lindsay)
and some others I got to see again.(Anton, John, and Dave)
I was able to lose 33 pounds and keep it off.
I was able to stay healthy and injury free.
I had a fun, happy year, and was able to smile often.
I am looking forward to 2009 ;-)

146 hours total

ITU Age Group Worlds (nearly last F20-24, don't handle racing in freezing weather very well 2:26ish with shortened swim (due to 51 degree temps and 6 foot waves).
That was June 8 and I have hardly exercised since. I probably won't train or race much next year either because I really want to graduate after next semester and then I'll be busy moving who-knows-where, finding a job, paying my rent, etc...
Didn't maintain my log very well until August, naughty-naughty.
