16-27 tooth cassette

How hilly we talkin'? I ride in a hilly area and do ok with a 12-25. For a Hilly IM like IMLP or a century with serious lumps, like Mountains of Misery I use a cog set with a top of 27. It seems like over kill on the first loop, but not on the second looking at the run or when the day gets long. I think the 16 isn't high enough...keep looking.
Some folks will tell you that you're fine with what you have but I think your knees will thank you for the lower gear.

So, I am looking to buy a cassette for my disk wheel, that I will be able to better use in hilly situations, still keeping my 54/42 aero chainrings. I came across this cassette configuration (which I have never seen nor read comments about) on Probikekit.com. Has anyone ever used a configuration like this for a hilly course? I currently run an 11-23, so would I see quite a bit of difference with this cassette? I hold about a 20mph ave speed over distance with the 11-23, and I am FAR from running my top gearing, so I can't imagine this 16-27 cassette would make me top out in gearing before reaching my top sustainable speed.
Any imput or advice would be appreciated. Thanks everyone.
