I got my run in early this morning, actually probably the earliest I have run when not racing this year ;). I don't even know if it was in my training plan haha, but after getting fat yesterday and doing more of it today, there was no option so i banged out a quick 5 miles.

Maybe I'll hop on the trainer later today if I feel like it.

Sweet on the 405! I got probably the coolest gift ever. My road bike got stolen over my Birthday week, (end of october). Been hassling with insurance since for some reimbursement money. we exchanged gifts with bigmatt and he and chris raided chris' garage over thanksgiving and built me up a sweet Trek road bike with all the same campy components I had on my stolen Felt. Matt wheeled it in the family room and I was totally blown away. The coolest! :)

Wow! At least two new bikes in the TF family! Merry Christmas to everyone! I had a very tri-ing Xmas- got 2 new bike jerseys, quick release kit for my Forerunner, another Garmin sensor for my tri bike, a Giro aero lid, and assorted nutrition stuff. Good day all around!

Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.

You guys are the only ones who understand the "weird" gifts. I had a triathlete dream Chrsitmas...new bike shoes, a trainer and speed laces in my stocking. My coworkers and inlaws think I'm weird.

Merry belated Christmas, all! Started the day with a short run in Ohio's 17 degree weather -- I'm still battling some lung congestion but it felt great to be out there while my family slept. Tons of tri clothing and some cold weather biking clothes and lights so that I'm set for winter riding/commuting! My parents also discovered that they have a tri store here in Ohio and got most of my gifts there. I think watching my husband do IMFL last month made them realize we're serious about this "crazy stuff we do".

Gotta go -- a 5mile run and day 1 of 50 days of core awaits me!

Wow, cool bike!!! Had great Christmas here, but too icy to run so it was downstairs to the trainer.

Still, my 12 year old got me a Spinervals DVD for my stocking. How cool is that???

What a great present for you!

Merry late Christmas everyone. I'm actually at work till 3 and then to the pool. Very exciting to read about everyone's day. Thomas got lots, and I enjoyed every awesome, mom look and hug a kiss I got yesterday.

tribro, that is great news about the bike prezzie.
I think it is harder to have something and lose it than never to have had one at all. Great kudos to the brothers, for their thought and effort.

I'm glad to see everone else had a good xmas too.
I got a water-repellent IMOO souvenir cycling vest in black, with a big red M-dot logo on the back that a GF found on eBay. I'll post a pic shortly.

Happy New year wishes all!

Glad to hear everyone had a nice Christmas. I got a few bike related gifts. I got some t2+ cobra clip-ons (currently in the mail), a Republic of Anaerobia jersey, and a home made LiveStrong mug.

I would like to say my six year old cousin made the mug but it was my brother, and he is 23. On the inside of the rim it says "Those who beg for mercy are too weak to deserve it."

Hope everyone is having a great holiday

nice stuff PoC and F1oored. Hey F1oored, which of Chuck's books has that quote in it? I've read most of them. Is that in Fight Club? Can't recall it from the movie adaptation...

This xmas was very low key for us with opening a new clinic -- but got some really cool cycling socks -- one pair has a gingerbread man and says "bite me" and Mike got ones that say "rehab is for quitters". They were from my mom, and will go great with the "Ho" ones she got last year ;)

Tribro -- very cool on the bike! You in the Danville area for the holidays? We were thinking of biking Mount Diablo this weekend but left our bike shoes on the other side of the bay.... oops.
