Hi Thurber:
I have a Baby Jogger II w/ 16" wheels and I love it. I do find it hard to jog w/ it though as my "baby" is a large 2 year old (32 lbs). When she was smaller I really liked though. The only thing missing is a cup/bottle holder but I think you can buy a generic one at Target or Babiesrus. I do think it would be a little cumbersome to take shopping but I have seen some folks using it in the mall. I bought mine online at ageebike.com, but you could shop the internet and find a great deal. HTH! Let me know if you have any other q's -- I'll be happy to answer.

I really appreciate the help. My guy is 4 months old, so still a little young for the jogger, but wanted to start doing my research.

I'm finding the first year of training with our new addition challenging, but wonderful of course.

Thurber - I actually bought the Baby Jogger specifically because of the lower weight safety (I could take my daughter out in it around 4 months). Also they sell inserts that are soft and superpadded so that he's comfy and not bouncing all over! : ) I hope you enjoy yours as much as we did!!!
Not exactly a hard-core tri equipment question, but does anyone have any recommendations on the above (brand, model, etc.). Would like something that is functional as both a solid running stroller and as a walking stroller as well. Don't know if there are any particularly good options out there for bike trailer / jogger hybrids either. Thanks!
