Hmmm...that's a tough one. But I love the effort you are putting in for your girl! How about this? there have to be tons of cool swimming, biking and running ornaments. How about getting her three, wrapping them separately and then having her open them in order. We gals love to open gifts! Good luck to you!

I've actually been looking for one since 2005 for my husband. I get both him and my stepson an ornament every year for our tree, preferably something related to us, our hobbies, background, etc... I've found a number of cool cycling ornaments, and some fun running ones, but never any good triathlon ones. If you do track something down, post the link for the rest of us?

the best gift I've ever given was a diamond file (for ski edges) to my girlfriend (a ski instructor) for valentines day. I got to preface the gift with "I hope it's not to soon to be buying you diamonds but..." to which she was obviously annoyed because she's just not a diamond wearing gal. When she opened the jewelry box that I put the file in she was ecstatic and I had a beautiful blond feeding me dark chocolate that night. :) What I'm saying is that you should make it creative and because she's a tri person feel free to geek out. Bike tools, inside jokes, and even semi gag gifts are way better than anything serious. Just give it some thought and you'll get it right. good luck.

I've always thought that someone should take a 52 tooth ring and make a dream catcher with that and shoe laces. It's way geekier. you could hang broken spokes from the bottom instead of feathers, ya know.

I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere before but I goggled it and came up empty. My partner and I completed our first season of triathlons and I want to get her a tri ornament as a cheesy way to commemorate the year. (but we're both pretty nerdy, so she'll love it)
I've found some options online but I hate them all. A ball that says tri, or the cafepress ones that are flat, cheap and looking. Hmm...I'm looking for something awesome.

It's made from bike parts which adds to the cool factor but it's not quite what I'm looking for. Will go for it if I don't find anything better.
