Ouch...are you an ex-girlfriend of mine using an assumed name? Here's hoping you feel better after releasing some of that venom. Good luck in your next race!

I read the thread about swim times and its obvious I've got some work to do there...maybe the first place to start is to find out if/how anyone has dealt with a similar situation to what has recently come up for me...there's really no delicate way to put it, so...it seems that about 45 minutes into a 1 hr. swim workout (TI drills and swimming mixed in, ie--not hard stuff) I've noticed a significant gas build-up  ! I'm new to TI drills and am trying to stay smooth through the strokes (15 per 25 yd on a good day, 18 on a not so good) and I've noticed that I'm really ready to breathe by the time I roll to the air...anyone? Anyone at all experienced something similar? This has probably happened 4-5 times now and this last time I did an interval run about 20 min. after getting out of the water...it wasn't good by the end and I can't imagine it would make for a pleasent ironman in October. No dietary changes to speak of...just the TI swimming lessons. I am in the water much more the last month or so. Does the CO2 build-up just take getting used to? Thoughts? Thanks a lot!
