Awesome! congratulations!
PS. Tax is $60 for YOU but for those of us with a nearly 10% (yes you read right)sales tax it would be almost $270 (or $210 for this years). We get taxed on online as well now--thanks to our governor.

Our state tax is 8%, but some how they only charge 3% when you order it online. At first the salesman told me to order it b/c of the tax savings, not sure how they get around it or if its on a state by state basis b/c I thought I would have gotten hit with the 8% b/c the Excel Sport store is in the same state as me. I just consider the tax as a donation to our government anyways :), plus $1890 sounds a lot better than $2044 with tax.

Excel Sports is my LBS and they have awesome pricing all the time, but you got a great deal on the P2C. Enjoy it!
Congrats!
I always wanted a Tri/TT bike and though when I got into tri just this late summer, everyone said I sould get an Cervelo R3 when I mentioned I wanted the P2C for a Tri/Road training bike.
So glad I went hardcore and got a P2C Tri/tt bike, I did my first Tri (Sprint) on my touring bike/commuter bike stripped down, thought about using my All Mtn Mtn bike but was told by friends to use the road bike. I also ride so chairlifts with my Downhill rig (That would make the bike part interesting if we all had to ride these heavy monsters) but that said, that is why I didn't get the Cervelo R3, I have a road bike, my tricked out road touring/commuter bike with it's 48 spoke tandem wheels/full racks & fenders.

She's a great woman (forgot to mention she also let me upgrade to a Specialized Tarmac Pro this summer!). Although she is enjoying my new purchases just as much as me. Since I got the bike she's bought a few pairs of jeans and a new purse and loves the fact that I can't say a word about it.
Finally took the bike out for a longer ride. The bike is definitely fast, I don't have a computer on it yet so I can't compare speeds to my road bike. All I know is that I can't get the smile off my face when I hit a flat stretch of road and go. I'm also enjoying my road bike more b/c I took off the fast forward seat post and aerobars.
Overall, my first impression is that I now understand why the P2C is so popular, great bike at a great price.

So I've been squirreling money away for a tri-bike purchase next spring and have been looking at the Cervelo P2C, Specialized Transition and Felt B12/B16 based on my online research. Didn't want to spend an arm and a leg and these bikes seemed to fit my needs and I've been targeting March timeframe for the purchase.
So the other night I'm surfing the internet and I check out excelsports.com and they have the P2C Ultegra Kit on sale for $2100. I did a double take b/c I just haven't seen the P2C drop in price on other site b/c the bike pretty much sells itself. I almost pulled the trigger but unfortunately my wife works at night and so I couldn't get her approval (if you're laughy at that comment you must be single :). So the next morning I get to work and decide to call and ask about inventory levels b/c 54cm P2C seem to go quick (still haven't bounced this off the wife yet). So I get the guy from Excel Sports on the phone and not only do they have the bikes in stock, but if I pay for the bike before Friday they'll give me another 10% off. So much to my surprise, I have an opportunity to buy a new P2C/Ultegra for $1890! So of course I did what any responsible triathlete would do and whipped out the credit card and decided to deal with the Mrs. when I got home. Luckily I have the greatest wife in the world and today we drove up to Boulder and picked up my new bike (with a short stop to take my wife shopping of course). I can't wait to get out on the road tomorrow morning.
So long story short, if you are trying to find a good deal on a P2C, go to excelsports.com and they still have some in stock. Even at $2100 I think its a good deal considering the price jumps to $2700 for the 09 model. Tax will be $60 online plus shipping ($20-50 I think).
