Happy Halloween! (contest)
i feel lame. didn't dress up. but my kids (twins, almost 4 yrs old) are Darth Vader and Princess Leia. attached pic of my son, Luke, as Darth.
I will post a pic on monday of my daughter who is going as Pebbles Flinstone, and Daddy made her costume.
awesome!
My brother was Vader one year and I was Leia -- but I was a stubborn kid (imagine that ;) and insisted it was an orange dress... and had almost no hair but insisted on using my own... so people were really confused.

My costume is highly imappropriate for the office setting, so no go on pictures yet. But I'll try to get one up here after tonight's partying. (Hint - the Spiders from Mars probably won't be coming out to play.)
I am not sure how to get a photo on here...but I have a cute one of my kids...I now managed to get it into the photo gallery- I am not sure how to link it into the thread (wow, I didn't realize I would get a computer education by being in a triathlon forum :)

Im soo happy this came up!!! Im not saying Im going to win or anything but I was going to post some pics anyways haha. Im a midgit pimp!!! My eyes are running through the dollar sign, this being my first and only party night this year. Nov. 1 my fun begins again =)
Side Note: The guy in the Tropics Jersey is doing his first race this summer!
Unfortunately I don't have one available to post.
However, I dressed up as the 'Punisher' one year and it was really cool!
It looked a little like this;
'Nothing to it, but to do it!'

you can add an image by putting in the html code like:
<img src="http://www.trifuel.com/files/imagecache/Large/files/PIMG2597_027.jpg" />
(all on one line -- that was just longer than the post window allows)
Which will give:

To get the link that is put in for the src (which stands for source) in Firefox you right-click on the image and select "copy image location". I'm not sure if there is an easy way to get it in IE...?
To have them not sideways you have to rotate the picture before you upload it... and doing that depends on what program you use on your computer to look at the picture on there. PM me if you'd like more help on it :)

The 'Jackie Moon' and 'Midget(kinda Bobblehead looking)Pimp' and pretty cool!!
'Nothing to it, but to do it!'
far right, "guy in the shower" you can't see the rubber ducky.
full disclosure: this is from last year.

repost, but
here's my son
Love the ZZ-top, so inventive and awesome!
The others are great too, I'm really enjoying this thread. I don't have a costume this year, sometimes I go in a theme with the kids and sometimes not. I think I'll have to fall back on my godzilla costume, which I wear if it's going to be cold.

If I owned a Speedo, I'd toss it on with a pair of goggles, some (ok, all) of my medals, to be Michael Phelps. We all know Matt isn't shy about posting a pic in a Speedo, but he's off at camp.

Hey, I can't resist a good contest!
Here's the costume.

I always win "Best Legs" at the drag-queen contests ('cos the non-triathletes don't shave!)
NB, the Timex Ironman watch.

I had help with the make-up.
Here's another. I think the wine is getting to me, good thing I'm not driving.

Are you out of your mind!!??
Standing up is hard enough when you have enough wine in you to wear a bra and pantyhose.
I shudder to think of dancing on a hardwood floor at the college in heels and a skirt!
NB. We had a great time and I had several offers I can't repeat on a family website. heh.

Thanks Kylie! I'll tell him he won!
No need to ship stuff to me; just donate to your tri club locally. He loves shot bloks (more for the pretend aspect of going thru transition) so I'll get him a package of those as his prize.
I didn't dress up on Halloween, but I did dress up 2 days later for the NYC Marathon

'Nothing to it, but to do it!'
Way to go Cadence Guy. That took some imagination!
Dressing in drag is just, well, kinda a tradition. I went to University in England, where they make a celebration of dressing up in women's clothing (see Monty Python). What can I say?
Thanks for running the show, Kylie.
Sooo beads, just how far behind dos Santos were you?
Come to that how much did Paula Radcliffe beat you by?
That was some fast pace she set!
PoC

They were going pretty fast, but they were getting paid for it.
I was going for "Best Dressed" ;-)
However if I got a buck for every high five I gave, or every time I heard a comment about my running shirt, I would have a made some serious cash!!

Well, you look happy enough in the picture, at least it didn't rain, eh?
Although the ground looks wet enough! Do those people drink any of the water or just shower in it?
25,000 paper cups times 25 aid stations, that's um, let's see,
Holy Crap, Batman!
That's 625 thousand paper cups for that race!
give or take.

The course is almost covered with them.
They supposedly do a really good cleanup, and recycle as much as possible.

Great running garb beads, now that's a classy way to do a marathon!

Sorry for the delay. Now that I've finally figured out this image posting thing, here I am, only a tad inebriated at this point, doing my best impression of David Bowie...

Best I've got on my work comp for "Speedo" pics.

It's Halloween and no one in my office dresses up. Show me your costume pics from this year -- or those of your kids/dogs!
Small prize will be mailed to the best costume -- and maybe some other categories depending on what I find in my triathlete trick-or-treat box of goodies :)
