This has to be one of the best sports days of the year. Not only do we have the Ironman Championship all day, but what a game at the Red River Shootout, Sox/Rays later on, LSU/Florida on tonight and then my Boise State Broncos are actually on TV! And its currently raining so there is absolutely no reason to go outside...okay, so I had to make a beer run :).

Looks like its setting up to be a great race in Kona. Sorry to see Macca have to drop out. Chrissy had some bad luck w/her tire and lost 10 minutes to fall about 5 minutes behind but she just climbed back into 1st, absolutely amazing. Looks like Chris Lieto is having a good race up to this point. He's going to have to hold off some of those runners who are riding a few minutes back.

COME ON CHRIS AND MATT!!!

As Mike Reilly was interviewing Chrissy Wellington after she won he took a quick break to announce Matt finishing and they panned out to show Chris meet him at the finish line, cool to see. Great job guys!

Chrissy Wellington is awsome!I have never seen a Pro so smiley and nice to other people as
she races. She's so cute you want to just squeeze her! We almost got a shot of her taking a
leak while she was waiting for tech support. Great race!

I feel a little of your pain. I'm an adopted Sooner fan b/c I got so sick and tired of hearing all of the bandwagon Texas fans yelling "Hook 'em!" all of the damn time when I lived in TX. Tough loss.

On the Ironman side of the house, I wake up this morning to see a small little caption inside the sports section that says "Sindballe leads Ironman." Really? The Denver Post couldn't update the page at 7:00 last night when Crowie crossed the line. Oh well, I understand we have a small following in our sport. Heck, I can't even find an article on ESPN or Fox Sports about the race. Either way, great race and congratulations to all of the finishers.

Loved it, ironmanlive.com is better than NBC anyday.
- better than being there, sweating all day, getting burned and sore, just to catch a glimpse of somebody for 15 seconds!

Welchie is great, Babbitt is funny, Huddle rocks, the girls were fabulous

Does that Mickeekie-bum ever shut up?? heh.

- loved her anyway.

You mean, Mickieekie-bum "You know" Man, she said "you know" more times than a high school girl every time she spoke about something. You would think someone would point that out to her. Yes, I agree, great show though.
