apples and oranges. no, seriously.
You will miss out on some fiber; especially with the apple sauce because almost all brands skin the apples which is where most of the fiber is.
An apple a day keeps the doc away! Sometimes if its a good apple i will eat the whole thing
core and all. Good roughage for your intestines! Oranges are good too my
grandfather would eat the peel yuk!

Eating the core... eating the peel... that's tough stuff. I'll stick to my sissy apple coring device. :)

or teeth? Just eat it. I've never had the patience to peal an apple. Oh, and Foraz is right. You'll miss out on some fiber but they don't go bad as fast so if your getting fiber else where I say go for it but I'm no Dr.
+1 on the sissy apple coring device
Yes, it's better than a knife because it gives even slice sizes :)
"Whether you think you can or can't, you're right"
You are better off just eating the fruit fresh.
Unless you are making the applesauce or orange juice yourself you are losing some nutrients.
Nothing to it, but to do it

does unsweetened apple sauce (actual ingredients: apples, water, absorbic acid (vitamin C)) achieve the same ends as an apple?
does orange juice with some pulp give me an orange?
