I had a great time this weekend at the Nation's Tri. As others have noted - the race is really top notch and very well run (despite some logical challenges related to registration the day before).

The Potomac wasn't too bad this year. My very scientific method of measuring the dirtyness of the water from the wetsuit hours after the race yielded much cleaner water than last year (and photos to proove it).

The bike course was a blast, much more fun than last years.

The run course was good - but I think I actually preferred last years course, even with the Whitehurt Freeway elevation gains.

As for my race day - it went pretty well :)

Full details/pics of my race are here: http://dcrainmaker.blogspot.com/2008/09/nations-triathlon-2008-race-repo...

When registration opens in December - I'd HIGHLY recommend signing up, I think this will quickly become a premier race to be in.
