Here is the model:

Do you guys know a company that makes aero bar with non-round mounts?

Thanks

I think it is a bad idea.

In the FAQ section of your link, FSA has the following:

Q: Can I mount Clip-on aerobars on my FSA Road Handlebar?
A: Clip-ons sustain a lot of pressure both from mounting clamps and hardware as well as the cyclist’s own weight. Clip-ons should only be mounted to a handlebar that the FSA rates as clip-on compatible. Clip-ons should only be mounted to a handlebar section with a constant outer diameter - do not mount clipons to a tapered handlebar section.

FSA lists several of their carbon road bars as "clip-on" compatible ... but the K-wing is not one of them. The K-wing has no area with a "constant outer diameter" that could be used to mount a clip-on. Clamping anything to the flattened portion of the bar would compromise the strength of the bar.

You could always get a set of stem mounted clip-ons like the Profile Lightning Stryke bars. They will give you less of a rise than bar mounted styles, too.

Sorry Leroy Bonkers ... I didn't mean specifically the "Profile Design wing clip kit" idea was bad ... just that adding any clip-on to the K-wing doesn't seem like a good idea.

It does appear that the Oval Concepts stem mount, and the "Profile Lightning Stryke bars" mentioned by xc800runner should work well.

OK, you're right.

Oval Concepts makes a stem cap that can accomodate bars. I think Dan from Slowtwitch has had some reviews of this.

Thanks for the info. Sorry I missed the FAQ page. I guess I am going to buy a new stem or new handle bar. I will see if I really need it.
