I posted a longer note on this on my blog, but here’s the story. On my last race I had my first mechanical issue. One of my tubes fell off my hydration wing and got caught up in my chain and rear derailleur. I checked my CO2 but didn’t check to be sure my tubes were in tight. Lesson learned.

Then my X-Nut fell off about 8 miles later. Another lesson learned; check to be sure that the nut is tight weekly.

A frustrating bike leg, but a great race and race season overall.

Finally I want to thank my “Sherpa” Karina for all her help during this first triathlon season. She got up with me and made it to all 7 of my races and was there supporting me during all my training and races. Thank you.

Well sorry about the bike problems...

I will say it is nice to have that support though!

I am glad you had a great first season and hope it goes just as well if not better next year!

The support is amazing. It'll be needed since I have an IM on my radar. We'll wait in see. Also, good luck laprokop in your IM! Let me know how your training goes with these MN winters.
