I am doing a duathlon (2m run, 10 mile bike, 2m run, 10m bike, 2m run) in about a month and it will be my first. My question is are most guys wearing running shoes and then biking shoes (clip ins) or is it better to change pedals and keep your running shoes on the whole time.

Thanks

i see both when i do the duathlons. i myself have running shoes and have bike shoes which i leave clipped in the bike that way i don't have to run through the transition area with my bike shoes on. it takes some getting used to putting your feet in the bike shoes while clipped but i think its worth it. good luck, your going to love the races.
