I'm looking to invest in a set of clip on aero bars and was looking for some input on good ones to buy and favorite web sites to use. I'm looking to spend under $100 on them. I have a Allez Triple if that helps at all.

Thanks ahead of time,
Aleks

I had those lil guys on my Allez double. I dug em till i upgraded to a full tribar.

If you check out my photos you can see what theyll look like, though id recommend a lot less tape than i used.

I have had the Profile Design Aerolite bars for a few months now and I really like them. They are very adjustable and comfortable. I think they cost around $100, maybe slightly more.

I have ridden several different types of Aerobars and to this day my favorite are the Blackwell Performer SS with patented Wrist Relief. They are the only bars that I have found that do not create pressure points in my wrist.

I've used these on a Allez triple for about two seasons:

The advantage here is that the arm rest is positioned behind the handlebars, keeping you from getting as stretched out. That way you can retain a decent road bike position but still get close to 90 degrees on your elbow bend. The position is then more comfy and stonger than being stretched out like superman.

And here in a shorter version:

I am using a hybrid of the above two posters' setups. I'm using a Profile Design T2 bar but I replaced the flat elbow pads with the Blackwell Research elbow rests (which they sell on their own). My forearms sometimes rolled off the Profile Design pads because they were fairly shallow but the Blackwell Research cup them in place in a very stable position so I can put more weight on them while relaxing my hand grip on the bars.
