Duluth Brewhouse Triathlon
The beer at the Brewhouse was great, but they brought root beer to the triathlon. It was good rootbeer, but I was looking for a beer to put in my mug!

I have considered doing that one but I also heard the roads were just terrible, but look at the weather they get up there; that cant be good for road conditions. Hopefully the turtleman will have better roads if your going to that.
Ever done the Lakes Country tri up in Baxter? Im considering it if its well done.
I'd like to do a race that has a huge beer mug in the goodie bag. ...and they fill it a few times at the end!

They did give out a beer mug, but they didn't fill it. That's alright, I took care of that when I got home.
Overall it was a great race. It's been around for 22 years and they have it running smoothly. The roads are the only issue.

Hey everyone. I raced in the Brewhouse Triathlon this past weekend in Duluth, MN. While it was a great race the roads around the lake are in bad shape. A lot of pot holes, and rough roads that need to be resurfaced.
If anyone else raced or has raced here you know what I mean. I've talked to the race director and they've been attempting to get the roads fixed not just for the triathlon, but because it's a recreational area. They know this is an issue, but they are not the ones who are responsible for the upkeep and maintanance of the road.
If you've participated in this race, or live in the area and would consider doing the race please call St. Louis County at 218-625-3801.
