My Garmin FR305 decided it didnt want to power up about 1.5 weeks ago and after talking with the Garmin Tech they said to send it in for repair. My FR305 was out of warranty, $49 , brand new one. Thank you Garmin very much. My next watch upgrade will be Garmin, but not until this one stops working again.

Yeah, I've found their customer support to be really good as well.

I've had great customer service with them also. After about 9 months, my FR305 had a very thin vertical line in the middle where no pixels would appear. It wasn't noticeable half the time, but I was concerned that more "blank lines" would start to appear. They sent me a brand new unit and a box to return my old one.

I totally agree. I had a FR301 and the HRM stopped working so after about two days of trying to reprogram the thing (per tech supports instructions) Garmin just sent me a new one. No hassle, no questions. The only negative is that I wish they had let me upgrade to the FR305 ;)
