Fed Ex from Kinko's to Kinko's domestically = about $40 a box inc. added insurance.
I personally like it b/c it's always easy to find a Kinko's Location to ship to/ from. They tend to be open late. And there's no coordinating with deliveries worrying about your ride coming on and off a truck 4-5 times, especially in NYC

Great idea. Gave the LBS a call, and they said that they should have some empties for me tomorrow. I'll check with Kinkos to see what I can arrange.

I know that there have been a lot of posts here recently about shipping, etc...
But I need to ship two bikes to NY, and I'd prefer to do it as cheaply as possible.
Does anyone have a box that I could arrange to borrow somehow? This is for a (semi)permanent relocation, not for a race...
Any help appreciated.
