Eagleman/Chesapeakeman Vets - Lodging Question
Book early. I ended up staying at a place about 30 miles away because I waited until August.
Lots of nice places around.
Nothing to it, but to do it
I'm throwing a tent on the high school grounds, might be a little rough with 2 young'uns tho.

Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.

Terrific. I would completely stay there again.

I stayed at the Hyatt host hotel. Very expensive but I bit the bullet. It was nice being able to walk out my hotel's back door to the start of the swim.

I did eagleman this year and used www.vrbo.com (vacation rentals by owner) to book a home about 20 minutes from the race site for fri-sun of that weekend. i went down with 10 of my friends and we had a blast the entire weekend. Since it was a house, we were able to cook our own food and totally relax. There are many nice homes in and around cambridge (ours was right on the water) that your family would be quite comfortable in.
