As much as I love my powertap and hate/like my areodrink. I can't seem to get them to both fit on my aerobars, and still have a comfortable grip. I use a profile extension to mount the powertap connector. Anybody else get this to work, and if so where did you/ and how did you put the powertap.

I put my PowerTap computer on the stem, no issues with the bottle then :-)

my computer is on the stem too. All the kool kids are putting it there these days.

...and if you sweat like a hooker in church/fatman at a buffet and don't want to worry about nuking your yellow lozenge of pain, get a small ziploc bag and a rubber band and wrap it and seal it. Keeps a great majority of the sweat out of the insides and more importantly from slipping in the contact points.

Also to point out in case you haven't found it the Powertap mount can rotate 90 degrees to change the orientation of the mount..

cheers
S.

You haven't seen my stem. Short legs , long torso create a funny stem. Once again can't hang out with the cool kids. Changing the direction of the mount will probably work the best. Thank for the help.

Being short rocks. See the following reasons
Lets see: no dimples on my zipps
No powertap mount on the stem
Chain at more extreme angle due to small bike
No cool looking extra tall seat post

Just joking. :)

I considered putting my PT on the outside of my aerobars, but ended up with it... on my stem.

To tri or not to tri - that's not a question at all!

You should mount it on one of them long metal hanger things that mounts to your helmet that all the has-been cool old-farts wear on their weekend century and double-century rides. (replacing the tri-angle mirror of course) That way you could sweat your brains out and your 'puter would be happy as a clam.

Tall guy, short guy, long legs, stumpy legs, tiny torso, Michael Phelps torso (abnormally long), it don't matter! You'd be the belle of the ball!

Weary is the path that does not challenge.

I guess I will just keep it where it is now, and learn to stop dropping my water bottle.

ok. How do you install your computer on the stem? My computer mounth has a strap that would position it sideways if I installed it on the stem. It has to be mounted on the handlebar or a little knob mount that is perpendicular to my aero bar in order to be oriented properly...

The mount I have you can slide the computer on two ways so that it can be either direction relative to the mount. Just the piece you slide the computer on has two ways to slide the computer on. I have the PT SL 2.4 (wireless).
