I don't have personal experienc with that particular monitor, but other folks that I know who have it LOVE it. I think some folks have had difficulty with the upload features the first time, but once they get them going seem to be reliable. Run speed and distance as well as the cycling features on this unit seem to be similar to those on the RS and CS series, all of which have worked well for me. Sorry I can't provide more specific first hand experience on this.
I've had lots of good luck with my various Polar products, and have been thinking of taking advantage of the trade up program they have and getting into one of the 6 or 7 series units. Now that I hear of your less than stellar luck with the battery replacement that might be the best approach.
Right now I have the Polar S120 and got the battery replaced recently. Sadly, they did not put the battery in right so that it leaked in water in the race today, which was very frustrating. So now I need a new HM. I'm looking at the Polar S625X, but I'm very much open to getting a different one.
I've pretty much set on using a Polar, but I was wondering what people thought of this HR.
