My wife is in need of a new bike saddle. To the ladies out there, any suggestions?

Terry Butterfly, hands down. I've got three bikes, and two Terry Butterflies. And before our big tandem tour this fall, there will most certainly be a Butterfly on my tandem seat too!

I have the Fizik Vitesse Tri saddle. They make both a road and tri model and I find it to be very comfortable. Good luck with saddle searching, it can be a long process to find something good.

Saddles are very personal...

I have found that on my tri bike I often like the Terry Butterfly Tri. On my road bike I LOVE the Selle Italia Gel Flow SLR. I have heard very good things of the Selle SMP saddles (which I might try next on the tri bike) and the Adamo (which doesn't work for me at all but many women love). Another one that has been getting some good reviews lately is the Specialized Toupe.

For saddle shopping it is great to find a store that will work with you to find the saddle right for you and allows test rides and then returns. You should ask your local shop :)

I've got the Terry Butterfly on my road bike. And after trying 4 other saddles, am very pleased with the Specialized Tritip gel saddle on my tri bike. See my review in the gear section...
