So I'm going to jump on the power band-wagon, the question is... which one?

So I've read about 50 articles all claiming power training is the way to go. If you use one, or know someone who does, I'd like to know your opinion!

Weary is the path that does not challenge.

This is the one I use...

Oh, you mean THAT kind of power meter? Well, I'm no help then.

I'm contemplating adding a powermeter to my training program.

The guys at my LBS are going to let me ride their CycleOps PowerTap SL 2.4 during a few of our training rides in the comming weeks.

I'm leaning towards that setup as, it's wireless and I train with different bikes. (tri/road)
All I'd have to do is change out my regular wheel with the supplied wheel and strap on the computer and roll.

Lots of people like the PT 2.4, I don't think you can go wrong with it... especially with two bikes.

I got a PT 2.4 this year and really love it. The unit itself is great, very easy to use, easy to deal with the data. It's changed my training and riding completely.

To tri or not to tri - that's not a question at all!

Nice one, Where do I plug in? I bet you could rig something up.

I use a PT 2.4 SL as well and really like it. I use it on my road and tri bikes, and it is really easy to switch between them and get going. And I had it built into a good wheel for training and for putting a wheelcover on and racing with.

It depends on whether you want Volts, Ohms, or Amperes.

Has anybody tried the Polar CS600, different power meter that doesn't use a hub. Curious to see what people think of it. Similar price to the powertap pro.
