Saying goodbye to an old friend.....
I'm totally interested, but I don't think I could justify it right now. Good luck selling it. Can we get some pics.
Oh, and if it's that blue paint job with flowers or whatever it is on it, then I'm totally jealous of you, and I'm sorry you have to sell it.

Is it the flowery one??? That is one of my bikes, and I crashed it and broke the fork and cried when I couldn't find a replacement.... so if it is flowery and has the orig fork I might be interested in that part of it....

I have it on eBay right now. Its not the one with the flowers, but the same color though.
NAF. I just sent you a message. Check it out.
I think it might be time to play 'Breaking up is Hard to do' ;-)

Yeah I don't tend to have an easy time getting rid of bikes. I'm all sentimental about them, so I try to avoid it by repurposing them. Maybe that's why Mike and I have 9... and we thought we were good about letting go of bikes this last year!

Bummer....if you are 5 ft 11, I'm guessing the bike is probably too big for me. I'm only 5 ft 7.

I will state that before you buy any bike, get measured to make sure you can get the right fit.
I just had someone wanting to buy it for themselves, and they were 6'3". I told them no, as it will eventually come back to bite me in the end.
dollfin04, there is a few good sites on figuring out your bike size online that you could use and then compare it to the geometry, as leg and torso length differ in all of us. Figure it out and see if falls in the range.

Well right now I have a 54cm Jamis. The guy at the bike shop thought I should go with something a bit bigger, but that felt comfortable. It says the reserve hasn't been met. What's the reserve price?

Reserve is $1100. I went with a bigger frame actually, to a 58cm mainly due to my long torso. I bought this as definately a newbie, not really knowing much about tri bikes.

9! That is all that is in the garage right?
I am having the same problem. I bought a Scott Plasma last winter and I can't get myself to part with the 2006 Cannondale Ironman 3 that I have. I really have no use for it, considering that I ride just the Scott now. It was my first real bike and I don't want to let it go. Good luck

Garage! No way! ;) The matching road bikes and tri bikes and mountain bikes (that are our good bikes) are the living room artwork (at least in this house... I'm moving Saturday). The others (older tri bikes and commute bike) live in the garage though -- with kayaking and surfing and other fun gear :)

We have a room in the house where our bikes hang too! My friends think it is wierd. I told how much I spent, then they are okay.
Some of my non-tri friends have been known to introduce them as "our kids" when their children asked about our kids ;) For us it is also because our garage is detached and we use the bikes so much it would be a pain.

Ours too... Much easier in the house. Cute. Thomas just says they are my mom's.

I am finally sucumbing to selling my original tri bike, and I am depressed about it.
Has anyone had this issue ?
On the upside, the proceeds will go towards new race wheels. Anyone interested in a well cared for Cannondale Multisport 2000 Si 54cm?
