So distracted

I am so distracted at work today. I think I have been on trifuel 4-5 times (or maybe just one really long span, don't remember), as well as browsed for new shoes, gear, etc etc. Oh and reviewed and re-reviewed the information for my race this weekend. Is it just because I'm coming back from a 4 day weekend, or is anyone else having the same problem today?

I kinda want to quit my job and train full time, but I don't have that kind of $$$ nor am I that good, but those are the thoughts running thru my head today...

Hopefully I'm not alone in this problem.

I work from home for myself and some days it is soooo hard to stay on task- especially with trifuel calling every so often

Same for my husband. In the summer though, he also has to entertain to a point our 7 year old. Once you have a race in your head or in the gorup with a bond, it is a calling. You are not alone.
I often ask my husband, so how was your day? I like the response, well I read or heard on a site that you can do this.. to get faster or did you hear..... If it isn't tri related it jeep related or at the moment baseball related with our son. As long as the business supports itself, I'm a happy person. Very hard the first three years~

ya, I am entertaining 4 kids (on and off- some days they are in camp) but we go out in the morning and then I get home in the afternoon after running around with the kiddos, and I check "my threads" and "recent posts" to see what came up while I was gone...and can I just say how disappointing it is when not much has happened while I was away?

It's funny, I've been "one of us" for a long time (my trifuel trianing log goes back to '06, been doing tris for 4+ yrs, not as long as Joe_H of course, but still)... I guess today is just abnormally bad for some reason...

The olympics are comig, it is summer and who wouldn't want to run, bike or swim instead of work....

and TdF is on, which sucks up the rest of my day...

Olympic summers are tough because there is very little break after the tour. and that spells an end to my social life.

caeagle16 I had the EXACT same day. Spent more time on line here and looking at my next two races then I did any real work. This sport has me.
