The last two days during my workouts my feet felt extremely hot. Saturday was a bike and today was a run. Has anyone else had this problem if so how did you deal with it? Should I just stop working out in the afternoon?

BTW: I miss Anton's old picture.

Hot spots or just swollen hot feet?

Are your shoes tighter than usual? It might be a silly reason but I had the same thing happen to me last week during my runs. I attributed it to it getting hotter outside but what it ended up being is that my shoes were pulled tighter than usual. My roommate actually wanted to see what my Yankz were all about and tried on my shoes and so he pulled them tighter than where I keep them. He told me just before my run yesterday and so I loosened them up and my feet didn't get nearly as hot as they had been earlier in the week.

Maybe you're pregnant. My wife's less than a week away from her due date, and her feet are always hot and swollen. Anyways, it's something to look into.

Ha, ha Chunky... Feet will be hot. Do you run with Yankz? It is natural too for your feet to swell and get hot on long runs.. Heck driving home after a race hurts..

If you have hot spots you may want to lube up your feet with some body glide before putting on your socks.
Otherwise,
How long were you running/cycling?
Was it hot out? Were you running on asphalt?

As stated above, if your shoes were too tight it might cause it as well.
I like using Speed laces or Yankz as well.

MY shoes are very tight but that is how they always are. My running shoes are new and don't have much ventilation so those don't surprise me much, however my bike shoes are the same. It is heat all over my feet. I don't think that my feet are swelling because I am not doing very long workouts. There are so many reasons why I could not be pregnant.

My bike shoes make my feet hot once in awhile, but that tends to be from pointing my toe down and jamming my feet forward and my feet get hot. if my foot is in the proper level position it seems to be better.
