Vo2 & RMR
I had a run LT test done in Feb.
AeT: 64.4@5:30 min mile/165 bpm.
I've never done a VO2 max test, but the guy doing the LT tests used my relative VO2 max from the test to guess my absolute VO2 max to be about 74.
AeT on the bike: 295W / 156 bpm. At almost 76 kg, this gives 3.9 W/kg (kind of sad....which explains why I can't race a hilly course for the life of me).
I've never had an RMR test done. I definitely eat too much, though!

Not fast enough.
I've always wanted to do a Vo2 test, but never had the opportunity. My roommate in college was an exercise science major in undergrad and always promised to do one on me as practice for a lab he was in (empty promises). I'd love to find what mine is, especially in running. I'm assuming I've dropped a bit across the board since I graduated b/c I rowed in college and from what I hear, the constant anaerobic and AT work leads to the avg Vo2 for rowers being higher than most other athletes.

Has anyone got their Vo2 tested for the bike an run? Or had their RMR (resting metabolic rate) tested?
I'm interested to see what same sport athlete's put out.
I got mine done in Feb, the beginning of my training season. The results showed my high anaerobic work paid off during the off season but I needed a lot of work on my endurance. I'm going to get re-tested again after my second HIM this year, right before my first marathon.
RMR came out to be 1815kcal utilizing 62% fat/35% carbs
Vo2 Bike
Peak 62.2 @ 280 watts/ 189bpm
Aet (Aerobic Threshold...what I should be able to hold at for endurance)
Vo2 41.2 @ 66% 176bpm @ 200 watts
Vo2 Run
Peak 51.0 @ 8.0/6% grade/ 6:21 min/mile. (my legs gave out before my cardio. I didn't actually peak here I just couldn't keep up with the damn machine anymore. I'm hoping my run efficiency has improved by my next round of testing.)
Aet (Aerobic Threshold...what I should be able to hold at for endurance)
36.8 @ 8:56 min mile /167bpm.
This has improved as my last 1/2 marathon in May was a 8:05 min/mile.
