Personally, I didn't like the video at all. And it actually has nothing to do with you being a spammer.

First of all, the music was terrible. I felt like I was navigating a Wii menu rather than watching a grueling sporting event. Way way way way too cheesy for me. And don't get me wrong. When I'm making a mii or something like that, I love the music. But not here.

Second of all, that's all there was was music. No commentary. No play-by-play. Pretty lame, as far as sports videos goes. I give it a 4/10.

I don't really "get" the draw of ITU...why not just have everyone ride hard on a trainer for an hour and then race a 10k while starting with no shoes on. I mean the swim and bike legs serve only to wear people out and drop the weaklings...but the majority of the people come into T2 together, and it's just a 10k race from there along with a speed transition contest.

Just not my cup of tea I guess

because if they rode on a trainer for an hour then did a 10k run, people like me would say "why don't they just swim 1500m and ride 40k before the run so they can call it a triathlon."

I guess they could release one person every 10 min to get more variety with bike and swim times. It would make the split times more interesting to look at. However, it wouldn't be a race, it would be a time trial.

It's a world championship race. Just like watching a championship heat at the track in the 1500m, you'll see everyone together for the beginning of the race. You'll notice that world championship times at the track tend to be a little slow (relatively, of course). It's easier to see the racing dynamics at other races (just like in running at the track) where people have a better chance of going off the front to win. ITU racing is the most intense format of triathlon . You should go watch a few races if you get the chance.....they're fun (and harder than any other form of triathlon).

Did they forget to swim??? I think it was just a home video a la youtube someone put on BBS and they are spamming it around. The ITU link is clearly more professionally done.
