Hey there everybody my name is Hayden Fawcett, and I am 13 years old. I am raising money for pancreatic cancer research via an olympic triathlon. I chose to raise money for pancreatic cancer because of its alarming death rate and because my grandmother died of it a few years ago. to learn more about pancreatic cancer, or to donate please click on this link. http://www.lustgartencommunity.org/NETCOMMUNITY/Page.aspx?pid=445&srcid=...

Tired is a state of mind, exhaustion is a state of body.

Hi Hayden! Are you new to tris? Will this be your first one?

Here is some helpful advice: if you are member of the community here, people are more likely to donate. Many of us have causes we raise for or support those of others. And it is wonderful what you are doing in memory of your grandma! But just posting a blurb like this will rub some people the wrong way, since it takes from the community without giving back.

Please don't get me wrong -- I really think what you are doing is wonderful and amazing -- great job! And I'd love to see you do wonderfully. But please also join our community instead of being another anonymous person looking to raise money.

Very well said. And, we really need to do something about this linking problem... Being the link police really sucks.

Well handled Ky. Tactful and courteous.
Hayden, if you are legit please keep posting rather than being a one shot deal.
