WDYDT - What Did You Do Today.

I'm thinking we need a cool acronym for our training. a little catch phrase we can pass on to others that reflects our chosen endurance lifestyle. so What did you do today is my stab. Please submit other ideas and if we come up with a good one we use it as our daily training thread.

p.s. please respond with What Did You Do Today along with suggested motto. Even if it's a rest/superbowl/ate chips day :)

1 hour, 15 minute run today. cold and windy and a little high on the heart rate going out. Leveled off a bit coming back. slight uphill grade on the way out. 149 average hr. still high but I'm happy to have covered that much time and I feel good afterwards. Longest run of the season so far.

Found a new trail to run about 1.5 miles out from the house. Dirt and no one on it. Leads to the national park so I'll definitely be running and mountain biking that this spring.

Simple and to the point...Whether it was a brick day, speed day, endurance day or rest day..WDYDT? fits all of the above...

Me? After yesterday's 20 mile run I decided swimming would be my best recovery day workout. I swam for 45 minutes ("almost" continually)...That is actually good for this newbie fish! I hoped to fit in a brick by cycling or doing a short run (It's BEAUTIFUL outside) but instead I cross trained by dodging the 100 other last minute game snack shoppers at the grocery store. :p

I am SOOOO psyched for kick-off!

Today was my long run: 21 kilometres in 1:45. Had a nice warm front come through to warm things up to a balmy 4 degrees C. Wonderful.

Hey a fellow Ontarion (spelling?)
Out in kitchener, eh? Well im a lil ways away in Brampton

A/w 45 min run tried to take the dog he only lasted 9 minutes at my blistering pace until i had to turn around and drop him off at home. So he got in about 18 minutes (im proud of him he only gets a little half hour walk from my mom every morning always good to get him doing a little work every now and then). Fairly flat and really warm for this time of year. Only had track pants short-sleeve and light coat on today.

And I like that WDYDT, its a little long but it works, reminds me of that WWJD("What Would Jesus Do") slogan.

Peace
Tyler

 ~~Cheers~~

cool, always good to get the dog out. sounds like he needs to work on his base.

ya, it is long to pronounce each letter - WDYDT, doesn't roll off the tongue, so I just say 'wi dit' or maybe 'wi dite'.

okay! I have this PFD. Rode 90 min easy/recreational pace w/daughter who told me wants to tri. PFD: proud father's day. I know many in trifuel are still young to have children and this acronym may not fit, but I wantted to share.
