during the rampant epo-days of the 90's a majority of cyclists used cocaine to keep their heart rates up due to the effect epo had on their thumpers; the same reason a number of young, seemingly healthy riders would die in their sleep from heart failure...REM kept the bpm too low to support the amount of epo in their blood

Party! Although I suspect grindylow2000 is right. But what a technicality! So you have to be caught with a line of coke on your stem?

yeah, can you imagine the NBA, MLB, or NFL rules stating, "No player shall be found using cocaine, meth, ecstasy, weed or any other recreational drug during a game............but what a player does out of the game is up to them and we wish them a good time."

I thought the NBA/NFL and MLB read. You can do it two times but don't get caught the third time or a suspension will occur.

Go easy on the poor guy; it could have been an accident. You all know how easy it is to fall down into a pile of someone else's coke, while taking a deep breath, and snort a little something without intending it. Geeze, the guy is only human. Plus, it can get boring out on the bike for so long.

Good. Tested positive for coke and was pulled driving over the legal limit...go get some help. It is a shame, but he has no place in the Tour.
