Strauss' Article in the last Newsletter
I'll second that, dawg!
I didn't notice the omission though.

This would be a good time to mention that Rich's site, cruciblefitness.com, is a must for first time IMer's like myself. If you're like me and want to get as much info as possible to prepare yourself for the big event, check out his site. He actually will walk you through every phase of the race, including fueling yourself for success. Outstanding site Rich!!!
Rich, I was actually considering that. How much different is your plan compared to Gale Bernhardt's in "Training Plans For Multipsort Athletes"? I've bought her book and it has a 26 week IM plan in it that doesn't look too bad (the workouts actually look easier than what I'm doing now). I've been very impressed with the info from your site so far and would definitely consider buying a 26 week plan if it's different from what I have. My target race is IM WI in September with a few other races mixed in (12 hr. Adv. Race in Apr., 1/2 IM in June, Max-O-Mania end of July, Olympic in Aug). Let me know what you think.
Keep up the good work because I like to get all the input I possibly can.
Mike
SOLD!! You're a hell of a salesman Rich. Actually I've been debating about buying your plan for a while, but after reading your free info on your site I've decided that I don't have much to lose (just the $80). I believe I'll sign up today to get this thing rolling.
Thanks again for the feedback.
Mike

Just want to say, that the running article that Rich Strauss put together was one of the best articles I've come across in a long time. I don't know if Rich uses these boards, but I'm wondering if he intentionally chose to leave out cadence and if so, why?
