I signed up today for what looks like an amazing event here in Canada. It is the World Masters Games and will be held in Edmonton, Alberta.
This event is held every 4 years and claims to be the worlds largest multisport competition. It is like an olympics for the average joe. The only qualification for this event is that you are over 30 and can pay the $180 entry fee.
It is being held on July 23/05, the same day and at the same site as the 2005 ITU Triathlon World Cup event. There are other events like track and field, marathons, ect going on the entire week as well.
This to me seems like a once in a lifetime event and thought I would share it with everyone. Not to mention Edmonton is a beautiful city to visit in the summer.
