Rhode Island 70.3....Where to stay on tiny budget

I am staying with a friend; I know it is expensive around there. Try a search 20-30 miles away I am sure you can find something under $100.00

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the swim in naragansett and the finish in providence? RI is a pretty small state, like nyfan said just do a search within 20 miles and you should be able to find something, I would look for areas west and southwest of providence, like west warwick and greenwich they are pretty much right off of 95, even kingston which is a little farther south. Those areas would put you about half way between the swim start and providence. There are a few campgrounds down by the shore, naragansett and charleston,if you like camping. Hope this helps.
Anyone in the Providence area have any good suggestions on where to stay on a shoestring budget for this race. I blew up in the heat of Orlando and missed out on a 70.3 slot and just added this race to try again. Only problem is that this damn passion of ours is so expensive. Any recomendations on where to stay?
