Hey all,

I hope nobody minds me posting this under race reports. I just thought it's kind of cool seeing young kids getting a taste of the triathlon world.

It's from last year but distributed through local emails just recently from a member of the Peachtree City, GA Triathlon Club. It was intended as a promotion to parents of young kids to participate in this years youth tri. Both my kids (8, 11) have done it for the last three years. It's a blast!

This years youth tri is coming up on June 7th.

I hope the link works. I'm not good at this stuff....you may have to cut and paste.

Enjoy

My son did that race and I was a volunteer at the finish line. It was great to see all those kids come across the line - most of them had smiles from ear-to-ear. PTC does a real good job - they also do a great job with their sprint - I'll be there for that one this year.

I think this is awesome! I'm a Girls on the Run coach and am always encouraging my girls to be active -- and a few are doing a kids tri or two this summer.
