Energy?
My body feels great ... i feel sluggish
Is this an out of body experience? :)
Well my legs dont feel sore and dead but at the same time im struggling to keep going.
We'd need a bit more info about your training plan to give you a better answer. Could be numerous things:
- over-training
- inadequate rest, recovery
- adding additonal mileage too soon (ie, going too far too early)
- heat (it is summer, after all)
- lack of motivation to run
- doing the same run over and over
- weight gain
Have you been eating a lot of refined sugars in general? Refined sugars can really zap your energy all the time, not just on long runs...
Thats about how i feel during allergy season, wether i take anything for it or not since the side effects of the meds are pretty much the same as the problems caused by allergies. Not saying its allergies for sure, just tossing out my guess.

I have been having some issues with energy on my long runs, My body feels great and my breathing is normal but i still feel sluggish, I have been taking my doses of high carbs and sugar, is there something im doing wrong?
