So my sister is getting married in the middle of June here in Phoenix. I an going to be a groomsman so I am going to be wearing a suit. I sweat a lot during the summer even when I am inside and don't really want to be standing up front dripping sweat. I have some heat gear Under Armour and was wondering if wearing it under my suit would help with the heat. Has anyone tried this and how did it work out?

When I used to wear a uniform and body armor I would always wear the Under Armor underneath. Much much better than a regular cotton shirt soaking wet!!!!

The UA allowed the body armor to move up and down as I i was constantly getting in and out of my car.

Definitely go with UA

I think you should go with sponges soaked in ice water in the pockets... ;)

I am thinking that a little whiteout and the words Help Me need to be on the bottom of the grooms or brides shoes for that great kneel if you are Episcopal/Lutheran/or Catholic.

Also because you sweat don't forget the UA headgear it is retro fashion and will definitely keep the sweat from your eyes.

In all seriousness, if you sweat heavily then definitely go with the UA it will ride well inside the suit and also prevent the pit stains from showing through as it will at least wick the sweat evenly.

Nope. Go with the rubber gloves filled with ice.

+1 I love UA compression shorts in the summer in Texas. They cut down on crotch rot. Remember: Cotton kills.

Thanks, everyone. I think the water filled sponges would only make the moisture problem worse, but an ice filled glove might be great while dancing ;)

"Do you take this woman to be your lawful wedded wife, promise to love and cherish her, in sickness and health, for richer or poorer, for better or worse, and forsaking all others keep yourself only unto her, so long as you both shall live?"

"I do."

"Will you protect this house?"

"I will."

Click-clack, I now pronounce you man and wife.

I used to wear dri fit stuff under my suit all the time when i had to wear one to work every day, and was likely to end up running at some point during my shift. I highly recommend it, or something like it. Still wear it usually now, including for my sister's wedding a few months ago.

Definitely weat the UA under the suit.

One of my problems with sweating in nice clothes is sticking to them. The UA will help prevent stickage. :) Yeah, that's a real word, right? :)

Dude,

I work a wicking t shirt, underwear and socks to my wedding in Miami this past March.

I still sweated like a gorilla but I was more comfortable.

Nothing to it, but to do it
