Nice work! I'm still working on yet another epic race report, but I hope to finish it today or tomorrow.
I absolutely LOVE this race. 2 years in a row. Going next year, too.

Way to go and I loved you RR. I too survived another TTT and can't wait till next year. I'm working on my race report, it is long because I am slow but I was not Last this year....almost but not last :)

Only problem is that the more of these I read the more I want to do TTT next year!! Does it sell out?

Rod was a great teammate, I only wish I could have raced better and felt better. Last year I think registration opened in October sometime and sold out late November/early December. Although from the buzz there this year I would venture to guess it is going to sell out a little quicker each year. I know the cabins and lodge (only lodging other than camping for about 10 miles) are already booked from what I've heard.

The whole experience was a blast. The zombified look on everyone's faces all day Sunday was priceless. After TTT everything is going to seem easy this year.

You yelled "HTFU" at me and my suffering partner, #61, as we were finishing our first run loop and you were coming up the hill starting your run. Then I saw you again as you were coming up on your last loop and I was coming down about mile 12 of my second and I said something to you like looking good, or something like that. Honestly by that time I was so fried I don't remember what I said but I know I yelled something.

Hey guys if the Park fills up there are 3 hotels out on US 23 that are about 15 min from the park. It is an easy drive. I know cause I live over in that area. So if you register, you prob can stay at one of them. I don't know when registeration opens for next year but I'm keeping my eyes open for it. Yall' have a great rest of the week and thanks for coming on down to Portsmouth.

LOL, NO WAY I said HTFU to anyone :) Just kidding. I tried to encourage as many other athletes as I could, because when you give energy, you get it back. But I also totally understood when someone would just nod or have this glazed look on their face. It happened to me, too at times.
Did you find yourself in the race photos? I did, but luckily it's because I wore a red helmet, have red wheels and wore streamers in the run. Otherwise, it's pretty hard to find yourself amongst all the black, black, and more black!

Yeah, I got my blog pictures for the most part from the race photos. If you knew who you finished around you could find the group you were in and narrow down the search.
Stomach is still iffy.

Congrats...the race sounds amazing, it's pretty close to me too. I'll have to look into it after I complete my first IM down the line.
