Should I brick my bikes?
i would follow my training plan!
I have a brick each week in my half training plan.
I think bricks are very important but wouldn´t do them after every bike.

Follow the plan but you can brick from the very start of your training. This "destructive" comment sounds bunk to me.

Not necessary to add more than identified in your training plan.
Once a week is sufficient.
Adding more brick runs after other bikes can be detrimental - if it hinders your recovery and takes away from your quality runs during the week.

Well this just goes to show different strokes for different folks. While I'll only do one serious brick/week, I will frequently do a 5-15 run after most bike rides - practice transitions and get those legs used to the change. Unless anyone can show me science to the contrary, I feel like I derive a lot of benefit from such a plan.
I wouldnt bother running after every bike. Once for twice a week is fine. I do tend to stack my workouts more when in the build phase. Swim/ bike, bike/ run, run/ bike. The second workout in the stack is a moderate workout, like a tempo ride or run. Once a week I do a big brick with longer mileage on more more challenging terrain.
Once you learn to run off the bike,w hich should take maybe one season, you're good to go and dont need that much practice at it. 5- 20 minutes really isnt enough time to train your body to do anything, and doing it frequently at a higher intensity (as sprint and oly thletes should be doing) isnt conductive to being injury free. And 15 minutes is nothing to someone IM training. Your legs wont have neough time to loosen up, nor would you be putting in mileage.
Keep the bricks for the focused days, have a plan for every workout everyday, and stick to the plan.

I'm preparing for a full in the fall and have gotten conflicting advice. Some people say I should add a short, easy run directly following all of my bikes, but then others say that the run is too distructive and will do more harm than good until the competition phase of my training.
I love to run following a good bike and to be honest, will brick my long bike to some degree 2 out of 4 regardless of what you tell me, but am I better off replenishing or even (god no) ---- stretching -----?
