Finals and training : what should I do
Finals seems easier for me to get training in since you don't have classes + work to do. With only tests to study for, I can usually find more time to train than the rest of the year. And of course working out makes a nice break for the studying grind.
Since you are worried about it, take extra care to plan your time out in advance (for studying and workouts). If you have a good plan and are diligent you should have plenty of time to get in the necessary training. Maybe there are some days where you can only get in a half hour, but you just make that an easy/recovery day, then go hard afterward. And if you really don't have enough time then schedule the whole week to focus on recovery.
Plenty of time in the day, get up with the sun to get your workouts in and you'll have the balance of the day for studying-- maybe even a 2nd workout in the evening.
Good luck with the finals
Or do what I did and not train at all for the last 4 weeks of the semester because you are trying to catch up from the winter slump...
Or do what I do and avoid studying at all costs until all of your training is done for the day...

Not fast enough.
Next time plan ahead and get teachers who don't give out finals. Thats what I did. 5 classes, only 2 finals and one of them was not cumulative. Talk about the easiest finals week ever!
Get used to the time crunch. You'll most likely never have more free time in your life than what you have during college.
it would be bad to study literally all day, if you can't find at least an hour to train during the days when you are studying that is amazing. just take a studybreak mid day and train for a few hours
Adarol. I'm sure you can find it on a college campus. It'll let you get in all your studying in half the time. You'll have plenty of time to get in your workouts, and you may even find free time to relax at the bar. Just make sure you don't have any olympics drug tests coming up.
What are you worried about?
You didn't get fit in two weeks, you won't lose it in two weeks.
Heck, for IM racers, two weeks off is called tapering.
Study like a demon, pass the exams, make your parents proud.
If you used training as an excuse for copping out of studying, I'd have no time for you. Get a grip.

Hi, I hope your are all doing well! My finals are coming in two weeks, and I need to study as much as I can. In the past, I have had problems combining training and studying; this time I am trying to AT LEAST maintain my current shape.
I usually train 2h a day, with rest on Sunday... and was wondering what you do when you are in this type of situation? Should I cut down by a half? Should I train less frequently, but do a complete 2h training, let's say 3 times a week? I hope you can help me figuring out what to do!
