Hi, Andy. I'm in Arlington, a bit far from you. But NoVA generally is a great area to be a triathlete. Check out RATS (Reston Area Triathlete Club), which is based not too far from you. I wouldn't be surprised if they have some athletes in Loudon County.

Hey Andy...I'm right across the river from you in Maryland...just across White's Ferry. (The cool way to go North)
Lots of good riding, races and fun in the area...Always available for rides and long runs...

I just moved from Germany into the area and now I'm looking for people who are also interested in Triathlon or Biking (Race/MTB) or Swimming. I did my first Triathlon 1990 and several since then, incl. one long distance one (2000).
It's much more fun to train together and maybe we can start a little team in this nice little town.
