Open Water Swims in Westchester, New York?

Does anyone know of any places to practice open water swims in Westchester? I live in Mt. Kisco, which isn't near the coast and want to find some lakes or rivers that work for open water practice. Anyone know of any places?

I just moved to Westchester (Larchmont) a few months ago - did you ever find any decent places to swim? The only place I know of is Orchard Beach in the Bronx - but its only really good early in the morning. I 'd be interested to hear about any other good places to train.
