Ok, so I'm getting crazy of my Garmin at the moment. I'm not able to get to the computer everyday, but I use my Garmin every day. However, the Garmin plots all my workouts into a multi workout, even though it's spread over several days (up to 5 days)... When I load the data into the training center, I would love to have all my workouts separated.
Does anyone know how I can tell the watch that I'm beginning a new workout?

Hope it's understandable...
Thanks

If you just hold the "lap" button it will reset. It should say "reseting" 3,2,1 and then clear all the data fields. This will separate all workouts, and it will not clear your data, just reset the unit to start a new workout.

That's something I recently realized too, and it makes a world of difference. Now I only sync mine about once a week, and just put it on the charging cradle plugged into the wall.

Yeah, it took me a while to realize that. At first I thought you had to connect it to the computer every time to avoid getting multi sport workouts. They should make it much clearer in the instructions how to start a new workout!

and I wish they never "upgraded" the Forerunner 301 to automatically go to multisport if you change sports! I miss my change mode reset ;) Glad you got it figured out.

I just wish it was called something other than "Reset". For some reason, that originally made me think that it was going to erase my old workout or something. It should just say "New Workout in 3...2....1".
