Im in the same boat bud, Im out for 3-6 months with two torn tendons in my right foot. Good luck to your therapy and good luck in the future training.

What a great chance to really get that swim and bike strong! ;) Just trying to look on the bright side... my fiance thanks his past injuries for the ~55min IM swim he now has, since they put him in the pool and made him get that part down.

But like others have said I will defiantly be using the time to work on my swim/bike (probably mostly swimming)

That sucks- but others have said- its a chance to work the swim and bike.
UI had to look up what the heck you tore- and how are you supposed to bike with htat injury? I would think it would be more bike related than run. I know I hardly use my thighs at all on the run, but theyve gotten bigger from all my riding.
Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.
sorry to hear az, and cadence too. we all walk that thin line sometimes between fitness and injury. heal well, there'll be a race waiting for you out there when you're ready.

Dang it!!!! Just went to my doctor and was told I had a severely strained (in his words I was damn lucky I didn't tear it) Sartorius, so now I have 6 weeks of therapy ahead of me. Guess I will just be hitting the pool more as he said swimming and mild biking are ok just no running =(.
