Polar T31 transmitter question...

I currently own a very simple heart rate monitor from Polar that works well and would like to continue to use...

My cyclo computer just died and I am looking for a replacement. I am looking at another Polar product. I'd like to be able to transmit heart rate info from a single T31 transmitter belt to both my wrist and handlebar mounted cyclo computer... making it thoughtless when transitioning from swim to bike to run without spending considerably more for a single bike/run combo watch setup.

Anyone had any experience with this... I've dropped Polar a line.. but not heard back from them...

Thanks for looking!

Matt

I would imagine if youre transmitting from your chest, then any receiver within range would pick it up. Not sure if Polar actually sets their transmitters to different freq's though. If they all transmit on the same band, then you should be good to go. Otherwise you might have to tweak the recievers to use the correct freq which could prove difficult..

I have a CS200 Polar monitor on the bike and use an old Polar watch when I`m running. I wear the same chest band transmitter for both and it works just fine. Once I couldn`t find the band that came with the bike monitor, and used my wife`s T31. I could never get any signal in the bike monitor.
Typically your new cyclo computer will be sold with a band, so just make sure that your heart rate monitor will pick that signal.

Good deal... I was looking at the CS200 to make it easier to sight HR on the bike but still keep track on my runs as well... thanks again...
