IM Az 2009 is already filled up. You can find information about applying for 2010 at Ironman.com. The IM last weekend was the last one to be held in April. From now on IM AZ will be held in November. The 95 degree heat and the winds just make it too darn tough on the athletes. Last weekend's IM had the 3rd highest dropout rate in the history of the sport. I certainly wouldn't have been able to finish in that heat. It was amazing to watch others go through it tho...

IM AZ has been a tough race (due to weather) since its inception. Thank goodness for the switch to November..

Great video, awesome cinematography! I think there are still community spots available for IM AZ in november. While you do have to pay a little more, its for a good cause and you get to race.
