The area surrounding Tallahassee is some of the prettiest in the state. There is great trail running at Red Bug and Tom Brown Trails, which are very close to the city. The roads surrounding Red bug are great for cycling, with wide roads and slight rolling hills.

Open water swimming is limited to lakes unless you wanna drive to the gulf, which isnt as close as one would think- at least an hour. Dont forget about the gators (the bane of the seminole) in the lakes :D For the most part, if you swim in an established swim area, and not at dawn or dusk, the gators leave you alone.

I personally have never seen a Nole triathlete affliated with a club- at least they dont advertise it as well as the Gators if there is one. I dont live in town and dont go to school- just visit every now and then, so I imagine someone else in town will be able to chime in and give ya some more filler.
