Under Armour
I use the cold weather gear to run in during the winter months and i will wear it under my tops too when i ride if it is cold. I love the stuff.
If your going to do something wrong enjoy it.

Just me personal experiences.....Ive got some UA tops that I use when I ride and I like them pretty good. I dont use them for LONG rides because they lack pockets but for hill workouts on my bike or short, fast paced rides I think they do the trick. I dont like them for running because believe it or not they restrict my breathing enough to make me cramp up, I know, weird huh? Just my .02
i have a few of there tops and underwear, i love them both. the undies stop chaffing on in its tracks and the long sleeve tops rock.
dose anyone know if Under Armor will put out the tri suit that MACCA wears? i love the way that thing looks.
I love me some UA. I use there underwear, run shirts and even have one pair of running shorts. They do a great job of keeping you dry and are very comfortable.
I agree with CadenceGuy on the biking aspect. I will however when it is cold or windy wear a long sleeve UA shirt under one of my bike jerseys.
They were in the dry-tech game long before most of the other big name apparel companies.

wickedfast- I emailed Under Armor customer service asking that very question. Their response regarding future production for the masses was sort of generic and unclear. Basically their said, "Sorry, but it isn't available at this time and we don't know if it will be available or won't be available."

My only complaint about their below-the-belt wear is their choice of seam placement. Other companies are starting to make a split seam down the middle, leaving some room in the middle. UA, however, still runs the seam right down the middle, and the horizontal seam from the legs crosses in, well, as Joe Friel would say, a "sensitive area".
Isn't UA like the Nike Compression stuff? I like to wear that on cold days either for running or under the cycling shirt when biking. I love the stuff.

Anyone ever compete in UA stuff? I guess I'm specifically looking at getting a compression style heatgear top but wasn't sure how it would be in the swim? Any experience?
never swam in it but I plan on doing TT's in a heatgear white UA top. It's basically the same thing as a TT top.
"now I only have good days and great days."
+1 on the UA gear especially the tops. I prefer De Soto for my shorts though.
Pain is the sensation of weakness leaving the body!
I recommend the UA compression heat gear tops for races and wearing under the wetsuit. I have used the tops for olympic and half ironman events and have been had zero hot spots or any other issues. If I need pockets I just stuff in the waistband or under the shirt.
l got a pair of the undies and a pair of the cold grear tights. I like them both... wear the tights when I go cycling underneath my cycling shorts when it's cold.

+ a million.
I actually have a pair of UA bottoms that have the split seam, and I can't run in them for more than an hour without severe pain and chafing. Hopefully this is not too graphic, but it basically ends up tying hairs together and then ripping them out as you run. I have gone to wearing tightie whities underneath the UA (the whities solve the butt chafing, and the UA solves the thigh chafing).
Oh, and sorry if anyone out there is totally grossed out now.

I wore sleeveless UA Heat gear tops for several races. It was nice and light. Didn't hold a lot of moisture either. Only issue I had was the collar was a bit too high around my neck so I got a bit of chaffing there. Also tough to get red Gatorade out of a white UA top!
Last year it was cool for my last race and I put on a long sleeve UA shirt before the bike. It took a few extra seconds to put on. The coldest thing during the bike was my feet, and the UA shirt didn't help that. In retrospect, I should of had a different long sleeve shirt to use that could be put on and taken easier.

I've done sprint distance tri using the nike stuff I didn't notice it on my swim or bike and it hold me together for the run, I really felt the compression helping me during the run. I haven't tried it on longer distances though.

Anyone ever race or train in Under Armour clothing? I'm looking to pick up some new gear and wasn't sure if this was as good of an option as Tri-specific clothing? Any thoughts?
