Fuji Aloha 1.0
Cervelo Dual
Trek Equinox 7
Felt S22
Cervelo P2 SL

I wanted to keep the price under $2,000 or right at it.

I would pick the bike that fits you best.

+1. My decision came down to the P2SL and Felt S22. I went with the Felt because there was something intangible that just made me feel more comfortable on it. No regrets.

+2 on the fit. Get the one that fits you best. I personally have the Felt and have no regrets in my decision thus far (year and a half, couple thousand miles)

IM BACK!!! Well kinda, have to give it six weeks..but its better then six months!

thanks for the replies. I would like to be able to test ride these bikes but realistically no store I know in Boston has most of the bikes listed. Except the Trek..

Go to more than one store then because it's not worth the money unless you get the bike that fits you best. When I bought my Orbea last year, I test rode bikes at 5 stores (and did online research at 3 others in my area) before finally making a decision.

I just went to both the Felt and Cervelo websites. Each are carried by 1/2 dozen shops in the greater Boston area...but it looks like Landry's carries both brands, although not any of Trek's tri bikes.

The Dual would be my last choice on that list- simply becuase its been phased out. So unless you get a killer deal on one, go with the P2sl for your cervelo. I ride an equinox and love it, so I can give it a thumbs up.

Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.

Definitely do a fitting an maybe even a test ride--something as minor as the aerobar setup (e.g., Profile on the Trek vs. Vision on the Cervelo) can make a big difference. If fit was not a concern, I'd look at the P2SL, Felt and Trek in that order.

I personally say spend a few extra dollars and get the Specalized Transition Expert, it's a great bike, and has a powerful manufactuer behind it.

I ride the Fuji Aloha CF-1, and I LOVE It, it makes me feel fast and looks great, and fits very well. If you want to go with the Fuji 1.0, I think the blue looks very cool :D, and its practically the same bike, different components, different aerobars, but same design aerodynamically. I think you will love it! And I think the price is only $1,500.

Just my 2 cents, but definatly test ride them all. Bikes aren't all about reviews, you need to feel 1 with the bike.

"This is my bike, without my bike I am nothing" definatly applies
