I am looking at sending out my resume (via e-mail) to a few companies to try and earn me a little sponsorship. Something to help take the sting out of my pocket. Being a full time student is expensive! Being a triathlete is even more expensive!!!

What thing do you think you listed to help you gain that sponsorship? I know good race results are important, but I know that it is not all about race results. How did you show your prospective sponsors that you were going to be an asset and worth them spending money on you?

I remember listening to an episode of Tri-talk where Dave was talking with Emilio De Soto about this very topic and if I remember right he had an interesting take on it. I'm pretty sure it was in episode 37 on www.tri-talk-com
